The Hudson Valley Rail Trail Association hosts numerous events throughout the year on the rail trail to raise funds to expand and improve the trail. We have developed the Rail Trail Spike Program as a way for local businesses and individuals to lend their support to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail on a yearly basis with one donation instead of repeated requests for assistance.

This program encourages area businesses or individuals to chose a level of support each year during the "Annual Rail Trail Spike Program" campaign. The levels of support are:

Gold Spike Sponsorship - $300

• Featured Top Listing at all Events and publicity - Newspaper, Radio, TV, Posters
• 6 complimentary passes to all Sponsored Events
• Personal Recognition at Annual Meeting - Breakfast on the Trail at Black Creek
• Link to Hudson Valley Rail Trail Website
• Framed shadowbox with certificate and Golden Railroad Spike

Silver Spike Sponsorship - $200

• Prominent Listing at all Events and publicity: Newspaper, Radio, TV, Posters
• 3 complimentary passes to all Sponsored Events
• Personal Recognition at Annual Meeting - Breakfast on the Trail at Black Creek

• Framed shadowbox with certificate and Silver Railroad Spike

All proceeds from sponsors and events benefit the Hudson Valley Rail Trail in Highland. All contributions are tax deductible - (501(c)(3).
